wheels/offset/all that junk question

maybe this question is straying a bit from the maxima world but
1) can someone verify for me that the oem 17" 2k+ wheels are of a +45 offset?
2) so if its a 17x7" wheel with 45 offset..and according to twinturbo.net, "With 17 inch wheels you are stuck to 9.5 inches and near 30mm of offset in the rear because the HICAS link will hit the inner wheel lip if you go wider or more inboard." (300zx TT) will my OE wheels fit the TT car?

thanks

NO, the stock offset is 40mm.

Yes, your stock 17" wheels should fit a 300ZX TT. The MAXIMUM width should be 9.5 AND will require the wheels to be pushed out, hence 30mm offset. With a 7" width, 40mm offset should fit just fine.

thanks
You're welcome

I am willing to bet that it is 40mm. Call up any Nissan Dealer parts department & they will tell you for sure.
