hi- Ok I am here to admit that I am a dumb ***. I thought I could save a few bucks by using the stock shocks when i lowered my max. It was fine at first. It drove awsome after being lwered. Then I moved up to FSU and in to a appt. with HUGE speed bumps. The car felt fine at first but after a month or so of taking five to ten speed bumps a day the ride got bad. Like a inch deep pot hole would hurt ur *** when you hit it. Car also sounded like it was going to break when i hit bumps. It really sucked. It was worse then my 90' integra with 125k miles. Any way today i was putting a different set of wheels on the car and when it was jacked up the poor stock strut or shock which ever it is, and i herd a hissing noise. Looked at the back wheel and there was a puddle of clear/light brown oil-stuff all over the drive way. It was the shock i assume. SO now what. I have progress lowering springs and plan to keep the car a few more years what are the right shocks for me? any one know a good cheap place to pick them up? thanks guys

OUCH!!!!!! I reccomend the Tokico struts. I have them with the H&R springs, very firm, yet comfy ride. I did the same $hit when i lowered my car. But my strut blew out the day i dropped my car. If you wanna spend more money go for the Koni adjustables. IMHO the Tokicos will be fine. If i was you, i would do the front and rear struts at the same time.
