low cost product that improve performance

any body know any low cost product that really do improve performance? or any do-it-yourselfs.

i saw products called magnetic fuel saver that wraped around the oil filter and said to reduce fuel by 11%, will it work on my maxima?

No, it won't work.

Most (virtually all) of those products are scams.

Not truly low cost (under $50), but best bang-for-the-buck products are well known. Intake + y-pipe, or even just a nitrous setup are excellent bang for the buck. So is lightening.

(of course... you do have to think about the side effects of these mods.)
