I must say congratulations to everyone!

As a three year old member of the board, Max.org has progressed so awesome...Faster and better cars keep popping out everywhere..the show and go is in full effect. Everyone who has been around for a while (and even the newbies that contribute) should pat themselves on the back..I, for one, am extremely excited and happy to be a Maxima owner as things just keep getting better for us all...

I was just reflecting after spending some time on the board today...

Max.org would be even nicer if I could post from my normal/original name. James92se

I was here from the start, then a few months ago oddly got locked out of posting from my own name. Nobody could/would help.

Had to make a new one and start all over with new join date and post count and all that. It wouldnt be so bad if I could get my join date, status, and post count switched over or something.

It'd also be nice if we could get rid of about 14,000 ricers.

I did numerous times and I even PM'd him with no response. I even posted about it in the feedback section with pretty much no help.

Guess it wouldnt hurt to e-mail Jamie again. Thanks.

Lol you think that's bad, you should see some of the other pics that are probably floating around.

I used to have this huge white wing on it. Was gonna get it painted, but did the rice boy thing and mounted it BEFORE paint. It was sad, didnt even fit correctly and was fugly.

I remember forever ago posting that pic and getting flamed by Maximamike. lol Ahh the good ole days.

All that matters is that the car looks good now.

I learned a lot in my 3+ years here... I am on my 3rd maxima now... before i learned about cars, i learned about maximas I was a dumb newbie as well at one point.. glad that i found my way onto this forum instead of some other place. Great bunch of people and lots of very knowledgeable guys. Everyone in general is very nice even if they seem to be d!cks online at times.

Please keep this thing going for as long as possible. maxima.org has come a long way to ever be shut down. As long as I keep my max and even passed that, I will still visit this site.

I must say this is one of the best sites on the net in terms of down-to-earth and knowledgable people. This site is a great source of automotive information not just for Maximas either. I also like the fact that most long-term Maxima owners aren't "Pro-Nissan" and they respect lots of cars.

I've met some really great local Maxima owners. We've had cook outs at my house, went to the dyno shop, and raced at the track together. It's been great to say the least. I hope another Maxus will be scheduled so I can attend one finally and meet the "group".

I can remember 2 years back when a handful of us were talking about adding 5th gen VIs to our 4th gens then. A year later, by accident thru a posted pic, a European Maxima member made us aware that the 4th gen overseas did indeed come with a VI. Now thru the help of Ian and John (Mr. Cranman), we now have the best NA bang-for-the-buck performance modification for the Maxima available, the MEVI. It would have never happened unless the Org came together and figured out how to order the VI and how to set it up. This is why I love this site. 2002 is the year of the VI

I can't wait to see what else we can come up with for our Maximas.

Please just keep it under your hat about the potential and the power of the Max. I would hate for those guys in civics with altezzas and short ram intakes to stop seeing my car as no different than a camry. I just really enjoy seeing the expression on their face when I unleash the power of the VQ, just like the one on that guys face who had a focus with nitrous

tons and tons of info here, basically a maxima encyclopedia. i didnt even know the difference between VG and VE before i was here, heh.

The only major con is the overwhelming amount of sarcasm/flaming and put-downs. It seems because of the fact that we have to communicate here via computer obviously, it gives us this sense of "power" or "shield" that we can spill out the sarcasm on the "newbies" without it hurting us in return because its "only the internet". I bet 90% of us who have this attituide wouldnt say this to members in person to their face. Moderators too tend to be on the "flamy" side but i like their sense of humor...
