I undid the TB coolant bypass and now I no longer have the sticking at 1500 RPM syndrome. Anyway, what the F is up with those damn metal pinch hose clamps? They are impossible to put back on, so I replaced them with real hose clamps that have screws.

Tip to put rubber hoses back on: heat them with a hairdryer til they expand. Slip them over and they'll contract again

lube

be sure not to use lubrication. lubbing it might cause it to slip off after the installation.
