Hey guys I just got back form New england Dragway. Today I set out to take the NA maxima ET record and to also beat my prevoius NA MPH record, I did just that. To make things fair with the fast 4th gen guys I removed my seats and spare, droped about 80-90 lb's. I also pumped up my rear tires to 42 PSI and lowered my front tires to 22 PSI. I had 1/4 tank of Ultra 94 (to much gas).

I put my heavy stock 17 inch rims and tires on up front and left my 18' SSR rims on in the back. The conditions of the track at the time of my record run was 53 F and about 80% humidity, barometer level is un-known.

Several .org members where at the track tonight, soundsoldier, Blkstenvalleymax(or close to that) black98maxse(or close to that, Joe) and 2 other guys that names I dont rememember. Blksetnvallymax's freind has me on tape doing a 13.9 run, he thinks he arrived to late to record my 13.8 run.

Well heres my slip #'s, I will scan the real thing soon.. New rocords are highlighted

RT ... .552
60' .. 2.251
330 .. 5.974
1/8 .. 9.036
MPH .. 80.52
1000 . 11.660
1/4 .. 13.883
MPH .. 100.96

Heres my best MPH of the night, the temp droped to about 45 on this run. BTW this was my 5th run of the night and my clutch started to slip real bad..

RT ... .359(I was in a rush)
60' .. 2.477
330 .. 6.382
1/8 .. 9.439
MPH .. 82.38
1000 . 12.054
1/4 .. 14.269
MPH .. 101.68

So a quick list of the nights runs in order, I did a 13.883, 13.986, 14.145, 13.966, 14.269.

I am a VERY VERY happy and proud all motor maxima owner now!!!

Well the time (1/8th) was slower because of my launch on slicks, but his 1/8th speed is WAY faster.

Nice runs... too bad for that 2.45 60' on your 101.7mph run. Thats awesome.

Looks like its time for a JWT ECU, UDP, and exhaust...

Yes indeed I saw it with my own eyes 13.9 1/4 mile. I missed Emax's 13.8 run, I got there a few minutes after Emax did that run.

But congrats to Ethan he definitly got the whole Maxima community a **** load more respect from the people up at Epping tonight. You should of seen the looks on some of these peoples faces when Ethan told them he ran a 13.8 1/4 mile all motor. Now that was priceless.

At byron a pair of lightning owners didn't believe both me and brian were N/A.... they kept asking what size shots we were running haha. it's fun to raise eyebrows like that.

Congrats!

Your car is crazy fast for an NA!
Some slicks and lightweight 16's your car will be mid 13's easy!

Also tired of hearing about these dyno "races". "I have more tq this and more HP that...." Bring it to the track and see what "you" can do in your car. You proved you are by far the fastest NA Maxima! 1/8 traps, 1/4 traps and ET. You shame a lot of NOS and SC Maximas big time!

Congrats, dude, If any 2K+ would do it, I had a stong feeling it would be you, and Y2KevSe following up once he gets his 5 speed in order.

By the way, the lip on the front air dam, cool stuff, makes a 5th gen front end actually look good

Sub 5 sec 0-60mph
Great job representing us all!

I plugged those figures into a 0-60mph calc and came up with 5.01sec.

Now who's be the first 4.x sec Maxima around?

Awesome time. It is that Variable Valve timing that is definitely helping the up top. Man incredible speed. The Maxima is a beast.

Temp 50.0 F
Dewpoint 39.2 F
RH 58%
Barometer 30.36 in Hg

I doubt Ethan can do 0-60 in 4.x second with his street tires. His 1/8 is pretty similar to Neal's time, but after that hes a lot faster than Neal, its the high end!
