Emergency...............help!!!!!!!

I recently changed the spark plugs for my friend. And today i decided to change mines. The overall process was pretty easy. But on the last spark plug, the one that is hardest to get to. I found that the spark plug in that spot was denched in motor oil. Why was it denched in motor oil. The worst part was when i started the car and heard a lound misfiring sound coming from that spot. Once i rechecked that spark plug, the plug that was in that spot melted in half and the other is still in that hole. Help! What went wrong????

i didn't post those threads because you were wrong.. in fact you are on the right track..

i posted those threads for 2 reason..

1) lets him see more information and more ideas and solutions that others with the same problem have been through.. and mabye resolutions they came to with that problem

2) so that he knows that the search function works and he should use it in the future

Oh yeah the search option works wonderfully! But Its not the spark plug that broke. Its the black plug thing that you plug into the hole with the spark plug. That is the thing that broke!

I always get paranoid when something in my engine is wrong. Im not there to look at the prob, but if it looks really bad and one of the cylinders isnt starting right id take it and get ripped off by the dealer. I hate when you go to the dealer and buy a part then they tell you the list price and then their price. The dealers price is always like $1 cheaper then list. Your already overpaying on anything from the dealer, so what in the heck difference is a dollar gonna make. Sorry im just venting cause I paid 85 for all my spark plugs. I should have bought them off ebay or courtesy, but I didnt want to wait to change them

my boy Joes02Max had the same problem with his 95 max a while back. Turned out to be a bad valve cover gasket in the rear. Cost him $150 to fix!

If you are talking about the black rubber thing that extends down to the plug, that is the spark plug wire. This is just from reading what you have posted. I am just trying to understand what you are talking about.

yeah my freind had the same prob, in his honda, I had to sit there with dental tools and pick the pieces out for over an hour.

we dont know what caused it though. He had hydro locked his engine and put a hole in it the night before , but the plug may have been like that before
