Guys, as if i didnt need another problem to add to my max, my front passenger door will not open . it happened friday at the movies, it was raining a lil bit and i was teasing my girl by unlocking only my door and not hers with my keyless remote, and after i unlocked hers she pulled on the handle but the door didnt open. the handle on the inside of the door doesnt open it either when i lock/unlock the doors the lock moves but it feels like it doesnt move all the way and doesnt make the full "click" noise. i cant remove the door pannel cause i cant open the door but i did remove the lil housing around the handle to look inside. it all looks normal (i think). N E ideas how i can fix this or what might be wrong. Im super broke and i know tuition payments are rollin around for upcomming term. if i do need professional repairs how much am i lookin at. or if anyone knows how to do the old "coat hanger trick" let me know how to do it oh yeah, audio upgrade for the max was completed saturday, kinda makes me feel a lil happy :-)

 

Dude, my fuggin max does this too!! What I do to fix it is get inside the driver seat and manually lock and unlock the door moving that lock tab on the door. After about the third time the door should come unlocked. The problem for me is with the lock, not the handle itself. The first time I had more difficulty and ended up beating the **** out of the door from the inside and then all worked.

 

lol i think i'll try the whole beat up the door thing to see if it works J/K, but i'll try playing with the lock manualy to see if it worked like it did for you. im so used to using the keyless entry and the little power button inside for the locks i forgot you could unlock them manually, sort of like my tv when i cant find the remote thanx for the help phat ill try it tomorrow, i gotta catch some zzzzz's, just got home from the club and im tired 3:50am
