actually i have the same problem...but in actuallity, one of my headlights is out of alignment, though it was aligned the second before i installed the Nokya's...so i dunno, check your alignment and see if that's kosher then hit the guys back up at SWA, they're all great guys...

Oh, you are having a "one-bulb-dimmer problem" too? Let me tell you what it is.........nothing....I went to the dealer, they told me it was the bulbs....As the owner of SWA, I have, at my disposal, hundred and fifty pairs of 9004s....I put in four different ones, and they all were the same...Its not the bulbs, its the harness...Something rather with the interuption of electrical flow crap...I still haven't figured it out...

This is on my 99 GXE btw..

I'm guessing you've got an aftermarket wire-harness?

Thanks guys. At least I know Im not the only one.

My headlights are not out of allignment and also the dim one looks exactly like a STOCK bulb, its even yellowish in color! I dont think its my harnesses since I can swap the bulbs back and forth each side and every side that the dim bulb is on it will be dim so I suspect its the bulb.
I dont know what I'll do now. Dont think I can return them for another pair..again

I dont think its my grounds. I can switch the bulbs back and fourth and the dimmer bulb will be dim either side and the Bright bulb is bright on either side also so its getting good connections on both sides of the harnesses.

Pho Ga?

Nismo this really sucks, I was right about to buy these but now I'm going to hold off. Max7's looks so good in the pics, I just can't find a logical explination why yours don't.

Yea I dont know either. I think its just that I had 2 defective bulbs 2 times in a row and believe that if I get a WORKING bulbs right now, I'll have 2 good bulbs that work.

I dont feel like trying to get a refund or replacement so Ill just keep my one Nokya unless Anyone would like to donate a working bulb

it cant be only you, or only me then...cuz a year ago, my nokya bulbs did the same thing, the low beams went out and i was only left with highs...but i didnt get the whole "dimmer" issue, however since my wire harness's did melt out several times and bulbs kept blowing and all this nonsense, i decided to just go with HIDs, and im ever so glad i did, its well worth it!

What's with the Low beam's blowing so fast with the upgraded harnesses? I just blew mine tonight, but i haven't checked any fuses or the harness yet. I did my harness and bulbs in January of this year...I have no idea if that's a long time for these or not. But I'm considering HID now.

Could there be a quality issue with this brand of bulbs??

I've been here a few months now and the only bulbs that I've seen people complain about are Nokyas. They either blow early, completely shatter in the housing, or don't work right from the beginning.

Hmmmm....i say this is my typical experience with Korean bulbs(I am Korean, so i'm not hatin) I say it could be a quality problem but i have experienced the same thing through maybe 6 sets of Korean made bulbs...the only sets of bulbs i've had anything good to say are a brand called Nakayama Racing sport HID Feeling bulbs...i regret ever giving those up...those lasted almost 2 years and i gave 'em up to try the latest trend in hyper bulbs...

I have had my Nokya's for a little over 5 months, and using an upgraded headlight harness...
