Question to all who have a Warpspeed y-pipe
Question to all who have a Warpspeed y-pipe
I just got my TIG y-pipe today and after going through all the parts, I noticed something about the "washer" (sorry i dont know what it is really called). This piece is the one that came taped to the pipe in a little plastic bag. It is the rubberish piece that fits between where the cat. conv. joins up with the large, single end of the pipe.
my question is: while one side has a definate hole for a screw to go through, the other side has a U-shaped hole. I am worried that this is a product flaw, because i cant see how a screw will hold the washer, since it is not a fully enclosed hole. Im not sure if the hole was ripped or it that the way it is supposed to look?
If turning to you guys for help. Let me know to calm my worries. Later

allows the maker to be less precise in the manufacture of the gasket;
a fairly common practice. Fear not, it's fine.
