here was the choices that i looked at.
EVO VIII: it's mitsu. not the greatest reliability. besides. they're only having 4000-5000 units in 2k3, so the mark up for that car would be pretty high, plus its kinda 'cheapie' looking. i have to 'move' up from the maxima.
WRX (STi)-- i heard the STi wasnt coming here.. i drove the WRX, its a decent car, granted it 1/2 the price of the Z, but still. its a smaller car than the maxima, and the interior is cheapie. again.
BMW 330ci - i wish i could afford this puppy.. i'm envious of AndyXXL.. sweet car, but eh. i think i can get more car out of the Z for the price i'm paying for the bimmer.
Used M3 (E36)- man. i loved these cars, but again. used car for new car price. eh.
acura MDX- damn this is nice. maybe when i'm married and have kids. haha.
Audi 2.7TT A6- shoulda bought this one. but i cant. my roomate just got one, and i dont want to have the same car as him *again*.. he currently has a Supercharged 98 maxima. haha. #%#!@%

I went to my local nissan dealership and got a chance to see and sit in a Silverstone-Touring-6-speed-black leather interior. The person who ordered it backed out of the deal. You have to see these in person to really appreciate them.
If my wife wasn't there I would have traded in my max and got it that day.

Actually, WRX STI version IS coming. Intial set up units will be around 1700-2200. Estimated HP to be 261HP..price to be around 31K
EVO VIII will come with approx 8000 units with intial HP estimated to be 260HP with 2 intercoolers on the sides! price to be around 30K.
Again, tuning is what I am talking about here. It's much easier to tune a factory turbo cars than adding a turbo kit later on. Plus, 350Z has relatively high compression ratio........keep that in mind!
And I know S2000 has done it,,but reliability will suffer.
