I could not find a place to put this SAFC thingie so I placed in there. No when you push it is not going anywhere. If you try to rip it off good luck I rigged to where you tug on it it will rip and damage it got to think evil as well. This is temporary thing. I am looking at placing it inside something nicer and more creative. Just to go give others ideas. I did not see anyone mount theirs like this before.

move your radio to the top slot and keep the SAFC right where it is. Looks very clean IMHO.

I bought a flat black piece of plastic and forgot what they called it. I cut around it as you can see and then placed a 2x4 and screwed in from the sides. It would be better if you make your own custom metal bracket like the radios but that one will definitely need more hours in labor.

I'm planning on installing mine out of sight. Maybe in the glove, armrest, or under the seat. I know too many people that have had their Apexi electronics stolen...which is really stupid. A stolen unit is no good unless you have the harness. So far best price I can find for the SAFC is $250 through eBay, but I'm still hunting.

Looks good Jaime. If it was me, I probably install it in the glove compartment. Only problem is finding how to do a custom install like that.

What gauges are you using? Also, what's the bottom gauge? I can't make it out.

Apexi boost and EGT. $250 for a SAFC thats very cheap. A glove compartment install wont be that hard, just got to be a bit creative.
I will try to hide it but like I said in my other post I want to have it in a tray.
ABS plastic, thats the plastic I was trying to tell the guy to sell me but he said he did not have it.

I'm installing mines on Mon... Where'd you 5thgen guys mount yours? I have the dvd-911 so I don't have the stock dash. I have the one with that small sleeve pocket under the headunit.

remove the pocket and install in there thats exactly what I did. I removed the pocket but at the same time I moved the radio from the top to the bottom. Trying to make the interior look different.
