I was talking with the guys at Courtesy, VIs will be there within 2 weeks. Price is approximately 350 + tax/shipping. This includes EVERYTHING NEEDED, includign the switches etc... he's not sure whether the gasket is included though.... I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on what's going on. I'll post more details next week

find out EVERYTHING that comes in it and all the PN's

that is a good price, but if everything is not in the kit then it might not be worth the hassle.

Everything for $350? Wonder what they'll use for an RPM trigger. Can't see how they can pull it off but....

Call me the group skeptic, but it all sounds too good to be true. The OEM US-spec manifold is ~$900 from Nissan and that's without gaskets. I don't know how Courtesy is able to get everything for the VI at $350. Something just isn't adding up because how can $350 even cover the Courtesy's costs for the VI? They sell a B-pipe for $220, but they can sell the VI for $350? I would have thought at least $800.

Just posting to get updates on this thread.

For $350 this would be the best hp/tq bang for your buck! Heck, I was about to even do it for $650. Still will if this falls through....

I know the Nissan Cost, and it's way above $350, not including switches.

I highly doubt this is true.

But if it is, that will rock for the Maxima community.

true, the cost of the parts from Nissan is higher than 350, I'm not sure how they manages it... even if it is more expensive... shipping will be alot cheaper

even with the GDs, the profit margin isnt very fat... dont see how they shaved 300 bones off the price

True that. I saw one for the first time a few weeks ago. I had no idea it looked like that. Really odd looking. Although, it can look as goofy as it wants, I still want one. I would definatly get the cover. Wonder if I can get a Infiniti one?

There's Smoke Being Blown Up Your A$$

It costs Nissan more than $350 to make VIs. Not to mention Nissan STILL has a policy that forbids them from shipping VIs to the U.S. There have been a few people successfull at getting a few of them thru private transactions...but they're not dealerships. A dealership will never be able to get their hands on them...especially in quantity.

I'll beleive it when I see it. Until then, I'm calling bullsh*t

Well, even if it is true I already ordered from iansw and a deal's a deal.

Make sure it's not the visually identical but non-working one that some guys here got from road-beeatch. Something about oval ports versus round ports?

ok guys.. after reading this thread.. i think its time to calm down..

it has to be misinformation.. there is no way they can be selling htem for $350 unless they are a) wrong part b) used..

lets calm down and not decide to jump get mad that we overpaid..

i mean jeez.. even 95 - 99 fog lights are $2XX .. and you think a manifold will be $350? thats why i want the part number.. so i can check with my dealership..

but how did you know what part to tell them? did you just say japanese maxima? did you show them diagrams? what exactly did you tell them? this might answer a lot of questions..
