I was excited. I got my vanity plates yesterday. I pu them on at 5:30am this morning before work. Within 5 miles 3 teenagers in ricer civics take offense and try to coerce a race. Maybe 1FSTMAX wasn't a good vanity plate to get.

Ticket, blah. "Hello officer, would it help if I told you that my brother is an officer". It works like a charm. Honestly, I usually don't speed or if I do it's no more than 5mph in city and 10mph on the highway. Every once in a while I'll take the bait or I'll do the bating. I prefer to take it to the track where it's a safer and legal.

How true. You can speed every 20 yards to the next traffic light, stop sign or car bumper in front of you Manassas is too overcrowded. Have you ever gone to the Burger King near the airport on friday or saturday nights? The Washington Post had a great article about 2 or 3 months ago stating that Manassas had one of the best strips on the East coast. It stated that people drive up to 3 hours every weekend to the strip and Burger King.

Are you serious? I been to Manassas on Friday and Saturday nights a few times. It's not as big as B&N on Rockville. So is the strip in Manassas by the Burger King near the airport or is the strip near where all the construction is by Tony's Pizza?

Tony's pizza. I personally thought the article wasn't up to snuff. When I was 18-21 the strip through Mathis Avenue(Tony's) was bumper to bumper. The parking lots were filled. It would take you 45 minutes to drive the 1/4-1/2 mile strip. Now it's kinda lame. The Burger King car thing seems to be filled with older people and older cars, although there's the occassional Viper and street racer.

 

The only Max I've seen around San Francisco with a vanity plate was a 2nd gen with body kit and exhaust that had MAXXXIN

 

Those two points of interest are far apart. I grew up 1 block from "The Strip"
What a waste of time. Why do people build fast cars and then create a traffic jam for themselves. I have not been to B&N or the BK, but I used to check out the burger joint up the street that had hot rods show up on Saturday nights during the summer. That was cool....nice cars.
