Help picking a tire...
On the way homw this morning is was raining and freezing cold.I was driving around 75 mph when a cargo van probaly 10-13 cars lengths in front of me pulls out from a complete stop.I hit the brakes and slide for awhile and start to go into the right lane and the guy in that lane jumps on the shoulder real quick and then the whole car just slings to the left and nicks the guard rail.
Time for new tires ehh?

Dunlop Sport A2 There are a lot of guys on here, including myself running those tires. I run them in the winter, they are great! Super quiet, excellent wet traction.
The SP5000 is another great tire, more sporty then the A2.

I have the 225 50's in the Dunlop A2's and love them, my Dad has the bridgstones on a Grand Prix GTP, after driving both the Bridgestones seemed better dry, but only a little, but the Dunlops were way better in the wet. Besides the Dunlops look way aggressive, I have never gotten actuall complements on tires until I put these on. This size tires have never rubbed w/my lowering springs, so you should be fine.

If you are not very worried about price and want a great tire, check out the Toyo Proxes T1-S. They are a superb tire that range in the neighborhood from $148.00 - $200.00 a tire depending on location. I got mine for $148.00 a tire, which was $8.00 more per tire than the old Pirelli P7000s that I had and that SUCKED. Good luck on your tire search.
