New HID Product. *exciting*

I talked to a friend of mine that works for a iguana motorsports that specializes in lighting products.

Anyways to make a long story short they will be coming out with a 9004-9006 HID kit that has Dual Bulbs attached to one single base in which case you would have HID lows and you will have xenon High Beams.

Thus you will no longer need projector headlamps to have both hi's and low beams. No more sacrificing.

Anyways the ballasts are made through Osram Sylvania. Temp ratings are 6-9k but i'm not positive yet.

If anyone is going to the SEMA show in vegas you will see this product on display.

If anyone wants to become a distributor please email me and i can set you up with my contact. Also if everything goes well maybe we can start a group deal.

Anyways I wanted to share this cause as a HID owner myself I got excited when I found out about this new product.

Do this include 9005? If so, wouldn't the low beam blind oncoming traffic.

If not, I'd have DUAL hid low beams.

Yes, I have seen that around, but it still does not come in 9004.

I have seen another HID kit that utilizes a "moving/shifting" ballast that moves up and down when high and low beams are utilized. Even though this system is awesome and definitely unique, I still do not want to fork over $750.00 for this HID kit. I will wait for the kit that NISMO808 is talking about, then we can compare apples to apples and prices to prices.

I have had my H-4 dual bulb HID for about 1 years now..
Those of whom had meet up with me in NE meets would know.
It's HID Low Beam and Halogen High Beam.. but my high beam is weak tho

Still it's dual bulbs HID kits..

I have H-4 on my Cefiro Headlights.. No. it won't fit 9004
I got mine from Asia..when they came out.
But they are not the greatest.. just my feedback after using them for months...

I believe this new product will be cheaper than what I paid

I remember seeing a HID kit that is sort of dual filament in that when you flip high beam the light sort of pivots downward giving it a more angled light as not to blind someone. If I can get the animated picture I will post it for you all. I think they were 9006 though.

Yea I have these. I modified my headlight housing for this to work better. I took it apart and removed the center deflector and then with the included deflector, I dremmeled off the top two leading edges so more light will hit the reflectors making a better illumination. As for the high beam, it's not really a beam, it'll flash but not really do any good job at illuminating. I think I'm going to sell these with the housing soon...

Actually I think they are out already. I remember seeing the dual HID kit on the Civic Boards about a month back. Dam if I could only remember the web site that was selling them. I do remember the price though...$500 plug and play. I will see if I can do a search on the Honda Boards, maybe find a pic.

Spoke to the guy at Iguana. He updated me with some info. Some good some bad.

From the looks of things it looks like these are going to be a bit on the pricey side. So for those of you who are expecting $300-400 price range it's not gonna happen. There isn't a definitive price cause the kit isn't out yet, however it will be available in 2-3 weeks. They offer both kits, the one with the moveable cover (not a true hi/lo) and the one with dual (hid/xenon) bulbs. The estimated prices are to be 700 and 900 respectively. Again these are ballpark. He couldn't give me a definitive price just yet. They have to configure their labor costs etc.

So I'll guess we'll have to wait and see but i'm afraid those of you with a lite wallet may want to wait this one out 6 months or so or maybe even next year before the price drops which I suspect it will.

Keep us informed anyway, I am still interested in the True Dual Xenon/HID combo. Will that come in our 9006 light? or whatever it is?

It's 9004.

Jae, will that still work?! That is for the true dual HID/XENON bulb, right?
