hey guys
I've been trying like hell to get a shot w/ the moon in the background... i went up on the hills and all but the pics were always bad... either teh car didn't show up well enough or the moon didn't show properly. After washing my car, i just parked it in front of my house and took a random pic w/ the moon in the background and i think this is the best one yet! too bad my camera has ****ty quality tho
anywho what do u guys think??? I'm gonna get a better camera before the next california bay area meet comes up so i can play around some more w/ photography

I did run it through photoshop but only to sharpen the pic a bit. maybe that's why it looks like that? I didn't put the pic on a tripod, i just kinda laid down on the road and took the pic.

Nice pic! I agree, moonshots are cool, but the lighting can be tough. Here's a couple shots I took up in the mountains at sunset of my car (no moon):

Nadir that's definitley a cool pic, but it looks like the sharpening did more harm than good!

Digicam's
Save another $100 and grab yourself a Sony 4.1 or an Olympus 4.1 digicam with a fair amount of memory.. These cam's while not SLR also have the ability to swap lenses. The Zeis on the Sony is amazing. I have a much older version of the Sony, but I'm told the Olympus is just as good these days, just depends on which interface, style, and memory format you prefer. Else, save the extra $100 and get a 3 megapixel version of either of those cameras..
