Hyper white turns are hard to see?

My friend was following me today and she said she could not see my hyper white turns signals behind my clear lenses at all. D'oh this is bad, I dont want to get nailed by some idiot driver. I know at night time you can see it fine. So I put in amber bulbs in the rear. Anyone else have similar problems?
