2004 Maxima????
2004 Maxima????
Me and my friend went to the nissan dealership to take a look at the new 350Z, you know sit in it tried to get a test drive but they were special ordered so no dice there. We start talking to the owner of the dealership and he tells us about nissans new suv looking thingy that has one gear and it's supposedly faster than a manual trans what I mean by one gear is there is no shifting just put the peddle to the metal and your off. Well to get to the point he was also telling us that Nissan is coming out with a new vehicals every 4 months and that right there is a big shoker but the even bigger shocker was that he started telling us about next years maxima and how it was getting a makeover we almost saw prototype pictures that were under heavy wrapes but they couldn't find them but when he was talking I was staring at the 350Z and I heard him say to my buddy that the maxima was getting a whole makeover wich meant new enigine and then he said whats infiniti's big sedan what, what is that he said to me and I replied the Q45 and he said yea thats what it's gonna look like for next year and it's going to have a V8 with rear wheel drive
.
Oh and last time I checked the Q45 was no slowch 5.5 0-60 and a 1/4 time of 13.1 from my tests, Well Cobra Mustang "BEWARE OF THE MAXIMA".
That's all I have to say about that.

it's not getting a compete makeover. There is an article in the oct. 2002 issue of sport compact car magazine (pg. 42) about the 2004 maxima and how nissan was test driving it on one of the major highways in SoCal. it has two pics of it, and the model resembles an altima a whole lot. There was another article in a nother mag, which i can't find ( i had to tear apart my room to find this one) where it goes into HP specs and AWD and such. If i remember correctly it was going to have a 300HP 6cyl. with either a 5-speed auto or a 6-speed tranny. I'll have to find that mag.
