Well fellas-

This Saturday is going to be COOL, SUNNY and DRY it seems! Thus, a perfect track day! Temps are only supposed to be in the 50's.

I am planning a Maxima track day at DeSoto for this Saturday December 30th. Its usually $5 to get in and $10 to run. The track opens at 1000AM and test and tune lasts until 230PM. The best thing about the Saturday AM test and tune is that you can literally make 100 runs if you so desire (and you have little love for your clutch!)

I will be leaving from Tarpon Springs around 900AM. It would be cool to meet up with anyone on the Pinellas side of the bay and we'd caravan down. The Hillsborough side folks could meet us either at the track, or somewhere along the way.

I figured we could also all grab some lunch after the races. Ill bring my digital camera and we can get some cool pics of the Tampa Bay area Maxima crowd.

Cool! If you can get off work, email me at madmax2k@juno.com. Im trying to set up a meeting point convenient for all so we can caravan down! Half the fun is racing any and everything you can find on the highway on the way down....heheheheheheh

OK great. Looks like there will be a bunch of Tampa Racing.com folks coming down. Ive got a few races already lined up. The piece de resistance is going to be whooping up on a friend's chipped 1.8T Passat that he says is going to blow my doors off!

Yep...exit 42, State Road 64. Head 9 miles east on SR 64 and DeSoto is on the right.

The weather is looking promising! Highs of low 50's tomorrow! Hopefully it will be sunny enough to keep the track warm so its not too slick.
