Stiff Sidewall Tires

Hey Im in the market of getting new tires for my maxima. Does anyone recommend a certain brand?Im looking into a semi-performance long lasting tread tire. Also I want I tire that looks "CLEAN" with a stiff side wall, you guys know what im talking aboout? The kind that once you mount and put them on the car they dont look plump. Thanks..Look forward to your maxima wisdom

first of all, what size tire are you looking for. this will be the biggest factor in how a tire looks, handles, and sits under the car. and, the lower the profile, typically means the stiffer the sidewall (less material to flex). and if you get a tire that is too much wider than your rim, that will cause it to looked squashed under the weight of the car. if its too wide, the sidewall isn't as able to support the weight from an angle as well compared to if it is flush with the rim.
