I had Piaa 1700X Fog Lights, and it worked fine for about 1.5 yrs and its dead. The component of the wiring to the main glass for the fogs were oxidized badly that it allowed no electrical current to the bulbs in the glass. I would never buy another aftermarket fogs from anybody besides oem. The only good piaa are there light bulbs for cars. I suggest you buy some sort of shielding or plastic tube from auto store and use tape (electrical) and wrap around the wiring area that is expose to the air where the fogs are, in the care enging it appears fine, but up to you.

Regards,
ßaller

Have you considered Razo's also (www.optauto.com)? What is it that you are looking for in your new bulbs? Brightness, performance? Catz I have heard are great. My friend has the Catz light bulb amplifier and those come with Catz bulbs and he's had them for over a year.

Yes, that is what I am looking for. Piaa looks nice and bright, like over 100 watts, but I want them to last and not burn out any wireing, I guess it doesn't...

I had catz on my old saturn for low beams. They were amazing, nice very white light and they worked better than my high beams for the most part. Not as bright, just much better than light the high beams. I would def recommend catz to anyone
