Cumalot: Here's from around my way, Chicagoland. The car is a freakin beast. He's had the AWIC for while.

Lately he has just disappeared, I'm guessing that whatever he has up his sleeve is just about finished. So he's going to make another appearance.

Oh and the 13.3 was on street tires!!!

I just want to know how he was able to run 13.3@106mph. It's an automatic right? I want to know the secret.


I know he has a SC and maybe nitrous? Or was the 13.3 only from the SC? What size pulley?

 

As far as I know, he isn't squeezing. I would have to guess that he is using a small a$$ pulley though. We've talked on occasion, but never in great detail as to what he is running. Some others on here have a better idea than myself. Just wanted to let you know, what I know.

I can give you guys some insight...but not to many details as it's not my place to....

I was present for the 13.3@106 (it was on those stocker 15s too)...it was done on 8lbs of boost with the AWIC...no nitrous....the car has a level 10 trans...

He has a project going on right now....but it's not finished as far as I know.

 

Is that an intercooler where your battery should be or is it a heat shield?

 

Only 8lbs and he got a 13.3, he must really have some thing else going on there

 

Air-to-water intercooler....probably good for 30-40hp....REALLY cold intake charge.

 

if he gets rims, he's gonna lose the sleeper look

I have the sleeper look happening on my ride too, but wheels of choice are 200sx/R33 skyline (i think you guys call them 240sx)anyway gives you a nice sleek factory look for $200AUS
Will have pics up next week, would look great if i could get it another 1" lower than the already 2" drop but as you guys know any lower than 2" = big $$$,

soon i will let all know what the changes are. oh yeah, i never did hit 8 psi on any of my runs and i never had the gas full throttle out of the hole. full throttle only after 45mph. no spray on any run. well the car on the outside will look the same, but will act like a mean sports car. will have all details later. keep watching.

Why would you not have the gas at full throttle out of the hole? And never hit 8psi on any of the runs? All of this yet you still were able to get 13.3@106mph?

 

His car is legit man. I too have been for a ride in Ferhans car. It is fast as hell. He has some tricks up his sleve if he is doing what he talked about last time I saw him.

 

Oh, don't take it the wrong way, I'm not doubting him one bit. I just want to know how he did it. Plus, maybe he could share some tips for a fellow boosted auto Max...for now anyway unless he's going turbo.

Cumalot: well if i smoke the tires 1/8 of the track at full throttle, i should not come out at full blast. the boost spikes at 8psi and hold steady between 6psi and 7psi.

in the pic of the speedo i was doing over 160mph, closer to 170mph. the needle stop a few seconds before the pic was taken. aren't penn. curving hignways nice for speeding?

Hey Alex : did u get ur tranny fixed? I didnt hear an update on the tranny and just wondering if u put on a new one with stronger internals or did a 5spd conversion. hope everything is working fine for you now.
