I just spent a little over $500 at cattman on mods and I am broke, the bills at the first of the month are looking awfully close too. Who else is broke? I don't care though because I will be putting on my RSB and my y-pipe soon, I guess the H&R's and the koni's will have to wait until my tax return check.

hear you man

Had over 13 grand in the bank at the beginning of the year now I've got something like 6 or 7 and everything went downhill this year. Got a raise though 5% and 6% bonus coming mid-Feb. Just glad to be employed because people are starting to get axed at a lot of co's and that dude snapped in MA. IT hiring freeze too. Like Cheech said Things are Tough All Over.

Nope, not broke. But I sure will be on April 15, once I'm done paying for all of your refunds.

Ummm .. yeh a lot of people with Porsches are broke, coz (like you're saying) there are a lot of people who blow more money than they have -- because they don't realize that the more you SPEND the less you HAVE.

got that annual bonus on Friday

Got a 6% bonus Friday for the year 2000. Wow, I only took home about 52% of the gross amount. Don't mind income tax so much but I really take exception to Social Security and Medicaid. There isn't even any limit anymore to how much you will pay on Medicaid, no cap!!

I agree with you (although I take exception to income tax, too) .. so you should tell your congressperson and senator how you feel about these taxes. Because many of those in Congress are just in love with them, and they are failures as tax systems.

I gave someone a bonus in December also and was astonished that they only took home 59% of it. It's sick.
