But do you have the boombox on your shoulder and drive a pinto?

As for me, I'm a computer guy. My nick has been hakk (ie hacker but not in the lame sense) or some combination of that since I was like 12 and trolling dialup bbs's, causing mischief here and there, etc..

I found there were too many variations of "black" & "max" out there so I dug back into my knowledge of Greek mythology.

In trying to find a synonym of "black", I thought of Styx. In the myth, it was the black river that Achilles was dipped into by his mom for invincibility. It beats something bland like blackmax or some variation of that.

p.s. I'm still trying to figure out what my car's Achilles Heel is. I hope there are no "poisioned arrows" flying my way!

way back when about 5 years ago, i thought it was cool to change the spelling of my name from jeff to jeph...so my dad for some reason used that as my aol name and i never got around to changing cuz i'm lazy. t is for my last name. the numbers mean nothing, but i guess will be my age in a two months.

that's that, nothing cool or funny, aside from the fact that i am a big dork.

Hey, is the Rock Bottom bar near UCSD still there? I spent a week in La Jolla (and LOVED it), and hung out there a few times. They have the best Red beer I've ever tasted.

Yeah it is. I don't drink though. And I've eaten there all of once (with Skimax).

I listen to his music all the time! I have every song he has been part of. Method Man.

M E T H O D, Man!
He is also known as:
"Ticallion Stallion" - name is too long
"Johnny Blaze" - sort of common
"Clifford Smith" - his real name

and "Hotnickels"/"Hotnicks"

Kojiro is a common Japanese name, but I use it in reference to Sasaki Kojiro. Kojiro was the rival of Miyamoto Musashi in the early 1600's. Musashi is believed to be one of the greatest samurai ever. Musashi struck down Kojiro with a single swing from his wooden sword. I always root for the underdog, so I used Kojiro as a Quake name. I ended up adopting it for almost all of my online handles.
If interested, read Musashi, by Yoshikawa Eiji, a historical fiction about Musashi.
Or read The Book of Five Rings, by Miyamoto Musashi, the book he wrote in retirement while living in a cave.

FtT is **** the Trend. I got that from a college buddy who had a Quake clan back in the day. We still use it to make our names unique. (you know, you sign up for some game or account and the name you want is already taken? We slap _FtT on the end and it makes it unique.)

I have a 1999 Triumph speed triple motorcycle. Drop the "le" from triple, combine the two, and presto chango, speedtrip.

mitch, because my last name is mitchels, 33x I added for no reason really, I guess "mitch" would be too boring...plus adding an "x" to a screen name makes the name seem more intimidating

My favorite rap group back in 1995 (the album 'N' GATZ WE TRUST) was South Central Cartel. Formed in 1986, fronted by MC Havoc Da Mouthpiece, whose father was a member of the Chi-Lites, the ranks of South Central Cartel are also inhabited by rappers Prodeje , Havikk Da Rymesman, LV Da Voice (the group's ‘singer’) and DJ's Kaos and Gripp.
I would be impressed if people even heard of them. You maybe have heard of LV as he had a solo career and was the chorus on Coolio's "Ganstas Paradise".
I was born in 1979, so thats where the 79 comes from.
It is pronouned Prodigy. Another favorite rapper of mine is Prodeje of Mobb Deep, I am sure ppl in NYC have heard of them.
I have been using this nick since then on early dialup BBS and Compuserv, etc. I have been playing online games since as well, until the past year or 2. I still love my Quake1, Quake3, and CounterStrike. I have been a member of many great clans and have competed nationally in tournaments. It has been awhile since I played any games really though. I do graduate soon, December 13th, and plan to get back into it more for sure. So how many online gamers do we have? Maybe we can start another thread? =P

One more thing,

GO BUCKEYES! FIESTA BOWL BAYBEEE!!!!

I do not care if we lose! Number 2 is nice too!

I waited for 2 hours to get my lottery ticket today to decide tomorrow if I can even get a ticket!

I doubt anyone will even read my post, it is too long.

last name is Dufresne (sounds like Du Frain), but nobody ever knows how to say it here in the states. You canadians would understand. Most people would say Du Frez Nee. So, it became a shortend slang for the mispronunciation that I've had as a nickname my entire life and used as my name for all bbs/games. Most people just look at it too quickly and asume that it's frenzy.
