i'm not a big honda person, but if I am correct, you can get the 4 with a stick, but the V6 is only auto... correct?

You talkin about the v6, right?

If they have 5-spd v6 Accord coupes, I think I might get one because the Accord coupe looks 10 better than the 5th gen Maximas. But too many riceboys drive accords, 5speed or not. What I would really like is a 2001 M3. ha ha ha.

I think you're right

It does seem like very few people want sticks these days. I still don't get bummed out by a manual--and I've gone through bumper-to-bumper in town and NJ Tpk holiday traffic. People always told me if you live in a crowded place you'll understand why everyone now prefers auto. NOT! Heck I hope to get a 6-speed next time. One more gear to play with.

Back to the Accord, well, it's been a good car ever since its inception. Look at the Maxima, the 5th gen now has incentives to help it sell. It's really too bad Nissan can't seem to just sell a car without doing that. So now they do the same thing to all the 2000 and early 2001 owners. Probably the incentives will get larger through early 2001 until they reach $2000 again.

Honda does not make a V6 Accord with a manual transmission. They never have either. It was most likely a 4 cylinder Accord. Unless someone did a tranny swap....which is highly unlikely.

wha

I doubt it was a V6. 4 banger Accords were always in auto and 5 spd.

Also, another good way to tell if its a V6 or not is exaust pipes, the V6 ones have dual exausts like the 3.2 TL.

yea, the accord v6 has the dual exhausts. just incase any 4banger accord is ricey enough to add a dual exhaust, check the lugs on the rims. the v6 uses 5 lug opposed to the 4 lug pattern on the 4banger.

it was not a v6

Because the accord does not have a 5-speed for their v6.I would not consider buying one. But the dude has 4-cyclinder

Just checked...and no, it could not have been a 6 cyl. The 01' V6 models are auto only.

If you want a V6 Accord w/ a manual you could always import one.
