Question for Maxer's that Sell Parts???

What is the norm for money transactions when you sell something on the ORG? Money first?? Part first?? I've owned a Max for over ten years but I'm new at selling. Thanks!!

its actually quite complicated here..

*post the part
*get asked a million questions including pictures, mothers maiden name etc.
*receive offers much lower than norm.
*repost part
*finally find a buyer
*get money
*send part

I've bought two things from people on the .org...

The first was for $400, we decided on half up front and half upon reciept.

The second was $55, so I paid up front, as I would expect someone to do for me for an item of similar price.

i've sold a few things...always got the money first...bought a few things, got the money first again...there were some instances however, where i bought, and the seller was nice enuff to ship before he got the money, so i can get the product on asap (ypipe)
