Look what I just got! 2k2 6spd
Hey guys, I just got a 2002 6spd last night. I got it from a private owner. It has just under 10,000 miles on it. The only option it has is a sunroof. Leather wasn't really necessary because one it's cold in the winter, hot in the summer and you slide around in turns. Cloth keeps you planted. And I didn't need the Bose. The stock system is good enough for the music I listen to. Anyways, I will be transferring my mods from my 2000 GLE, expect for the intake because it doesn't fit the 2k2. Not sure if the Courtesy FSTB will fit, does anyone know? My 2000 GLE will be up for sale pretty soon once I return it back to stock and the intake and painted tail lights will be for sale soon too. Here are some crappy pics I took last night. I wan't trying to make the best pics, just wanted to do it quick so I could go drive.

Congrats...nice choice!! (I've got the same) Stock tires? How do you rate the snow traction? Most say it stinks. I don't know how it is cuz we don't have any snow on the ground yet here in Central Wis. By now we usually have as much as I see in your pics.

Well I haven't really tested the tires out yet. I was being careful not to spin the tires in first gear and they didn't slip. So we'll see when I become more acustomed to the car.

Congrats on the fine purchase Greg, I know you're going to be very happy with this car.
I know I already told you this but I want to point it out to everyone else. Be extra careful with these cars people. The 2002 and 2003 Maximas are dangerous cars and demand to be driven by mature and experienced drivers. These cars have more power than sense and can quickly get you into trouble if the road conditions are less than perfect.
Enjoy your cars people, and be safe.

Very nice
I'm thinking about using Nissans bad resale value to my advantage and get one of these babies in the near future..
i figure same time next year, a 2k2 can be had for 13k.
nice purchase

Congrats greg...nice find!
hehe...having driven my 99SE (fully loaded) for close to a year now, and having a fully loaded accord before that, I've made the determination that leather, sunroof, bose, and all of that crap doesn't really matter to me anymore. I only need two things in a car nowadays.
1) Kick butt engine - CHECK
2) Manual transmission - CHECK
My next car, whatever it may be, will most likely *NOT* be fully loaded unless it already comes like that.

meccanoble: Well my house is right near Princeton, we got around 6 inches I believe. They didn't plow our streets until 8:00pm of the day of the storm. But I go to school at Rutgers, which isn't far from home anyways.
ATt: It's a Fuji FinePix 480 I believe. I don't have the camera here so I forget the exact model number. But it takes pretty good pics.
Maximan190: Nah I probably won't change my name, at least until signatures come back.
