Likey. I thought you had the metal upper piping not the rubber? What is with the gauges if your not boosted?

well one says "volts" so its a voltmeter and the other is an air/fuel gauge....

Just trying to gain knowledge. Why would these be needed if the car is not running a major performance modification? In this situation are they mainly just for looks?

I agree in this case it might be for looks...but knowing voltage readins and AF ratio is necessay in "regular" cars as well...maybe he could have done without the a-pillar setup, but if it make it easier to mount the gauges in sight than so be it.

I was going to go with the metal upper piping, but got busy with school and work and stuff, do i went against it for the time being. I'll be doing it during spring break..

The gauges are there for well, mainly show. The air/fuel I'll keep when i go boost, and the Volts gauge kinda servers a purpose....In case my alternator or battery are going, my volts drop, and its kind of an early warning sign, so im not stranded somewhere

Saves you the cost of buying the gauges later if your planning on boost anyhow.
