Exactly. If you don't drive a GT-R, don't put the badge on your car.

And, contrary to what you may have seen, adding a fart can and intake does not make your car a GT-R.

No. And no Nismo badges either, cuz there's no way in hell you can claim to have Nismo parts on a Max. Except maybe rims.

Like said before, if you car is not a skyline don't put it on. You wouldn't put a v-tec emblem on you car. why because it isn't a honda. Just because the skyline is made by nissan doesn't mean you put skyline emblems on your car.

On another note, We have some really funny smilies on here. But my friend used to have a honda and he went on this site called www.nwhonda.net and they have the funniest smilies I've ever seen. If the moderators see this post you have to find out how to get them.

Speaking of GT-R

"Nissan Motor also plans to sell its next Skyline GT-R model in the U.S. and Europe for the first time, though it hasn't said when. "

You too?

Well...the one I know of is a GT. See him in parking lots, and have seen him at the track. *shakes head*

I suppose it's alright if it's on a GT-R. Even then it's not that attractive of an emblem

Thank you.. finally people that agree with me, if your car isn't a skyline, or has a gt-r swap which I don't think is possible then don't put the F'IN badge on the car! It ****es me off to see Maxima owners do this to their cars. Like someone else put it, we're not the ricers, leave that to the civics and so on. Bottom line: If you have a skyline then feel free to plaster your **** with gt-r badges, but if you have a max, I don't care what mods you have or how fast your car is, it's not a skyline, leave the badges off!!!

I have a GTR badge. So what if these people dont like it. It all depends on what your taste is and if you like it or not. They didnt spend the money to buy it. The people putting it down probably couldnt afford it or the store didnt accept food stamps so of course they would be mad and angry (J/K guys just trying to defend a little on the choices made by other members that have the GTR badge dont take it personally.) **** we put it on for many reasons and just because it is not a Skyline dosent mean ****. If Nissan were smart and did sell the Skyline dont you think we would all be driving it or at least saving up for it. I know I would. I put the GTR badge on because it matches the 20th Anniversary Edition (I took of the SE. Why get all riled up over badges. If you have them great, if you dont great. As long as you dont make the mistake of putting Vtech or Vvtli on the car (Maxima). Think of it as the also popular question "Altezzas Rice or not?" some would say yes and some would say no, but hay its your money, its your car, its your taste. Do what you feel, buy what you like. Just my opinion so dont take it to the heart. Take it easy.

Okay, Your respone doesn't make much sense. You have a good response defending your badge, but please answer us, why do you have a gtr badge on a nissan maxima? it doesn't make sense to me or 99% of others on the board. Please, just explain why you would put something promoting one thing on a car which doesn't consist of that thing. I don't know I guess I'll always be confused over the gtr badge concept. If someone could explain it to me in a way that made sense, but it will never happen, why? because maximas aren't skylines! would you put a Type S badge on your max too? Or would you put a vtech badge on a camry? well, some might, as some max owners put the gtr badge on, just give me a reason...

People do what they want. Whatever makes them happy, they do. If you don't like it, then that's your problem. GT-R badge on a Mustang is pretty weird, but, whatever makes them happy. I guess.

probably many people know this (from the video), but i still got to say the GT-R Mustang exist - they are the 2k limited edition model.

Sorry but in 2000 they did not make a GT-R limited edition.

Are you referring to the Cobra R model, because that was produced in 2000.

Staying on the GT-R topic, the I would stay away from puting this badge on the car. You might as well jump on the honda lovers wagon with their Type R badge.
