Emblem, No Emblem, or Custom Emblem?

Put my new mesh grilles on today, and I'm not sure what I want to do this time. The emblem seems to look a little cheesy, but without the emblem it looks like a face without a nose. How about a custom emblem in the bottom left of the top grill (kinda like on S4s)? Please post your suggestions.
Thanks,
-Cyrus

Definitely needs the emblem...maybe a blacked out emblem or one that matches your body color?

Why don't you paint your Nissan hamburger high gloss black, and see how it looks. That's what I did to mine, and I like the way it looks.

Don't put it in the corner, that only looks good on nearly square grills where there actually is a corner. It looks empty without a badge though, check out some of the smaller new Nissan badges.

Thats also what I was thinking, one of the smaller emblems but not a tiny one. Just don't know which car to get it off of.

Actually it is alot smaller than the normal chrome maxima emblem on the back, like just over a half smaller. And the lettering is slanted some. I think you should try it out.

i would just rock the stock chrome emblam on the front grill. Iam and i get alot of compliments all the time on it.

BTW, how are those new grills you bought, fittment, installation and quality wise?

This grills are way better than my old mesh grills. The mesh is thicker, they are powercoated so the metal won't look "old", perfect fitment (well not for me because I had to modify them for a front license plate), comes with directions and tie-downs for install. DAMN nice grill, will take better shots in daylight tomorrow.

Wassup Cyrus...haven't talked to you in a while. I've had the same grill for a while now, and I've left off the emblem completely.

My observation...many more girls approach the ride to ask...what kind of car is that?

So, if your into girls.....

Yeah it's a thick rubber/metal bidding that keeps the mesh from scratching the car's paint. That's a big reason I bought it.

You can hardly tell the black one is there, that's the reason I didn't buy it black straight from Grille-Tech.

I have the same grill and body color of your max, Cyrus. I'm in the same situation as you. I tried asking my sisters about using the Cefiro's silver maxima emblem, and they said it was "alright." However, I'm not sure if how it will look with daylight and all. Where did you buy that rubber lining from. I got my grill off of ebay, and the fitment was perfect. No problems at all.

Mine came with the biding from Grille-Tech.com, it's a really nice lining (can't explain but it has metal inside so it stays in form). Expensive, but yea a perfect fit and a nice bidding, plus it's powercoated and very thick. WAY better than my $7 HomeDepot grill, but then again, 10x the price.

Hey Vyrus your car looks good, and very clean, except.. is that a neon attached to the front of your car? I can't think of what else is could be, it looks like a 20 inch neon suspended from your front bumper? If so, the car will look much more clean without that thing, also can't it easily be stolen? You should just invest in an underbody kit.

Yeah that thing is getting ripped of ASAP, if you look closely you can see the whole thing i smashed anyways. Anyways I want a bodykit bad but I think I'm going to go with just Stillen sides and rear and maybe an Erebuni front since a Stillen lip would get smashed just as easily as that neon with my 2" drop.
