Dashmats.

They are not the best looking things in the world but they help with the heat, glare, dust and inside vinyl vapors on the windshield.

I looked around and the going price seems to be around $40 for these things.

However, these guys have them for $30 with free shipping and no tax for me in California. Not bad.

get it if you like, but wouldn't a sunshade and tints do the same thing

Only when parked and not while driving. Personally I've had mine for 6yrs now and I find them helpful

Just a hint on keeping the DashMat from sliding off your dash...the mat usually comes with double sided tape, but that leaves sticky crap on the dash. I used a piece of tool box liner i.e. foam mesh type roll. I placed it under the mat, and it works well. The mat still slides off on hard acceleration, but is fine under normal driving conditions.
