pot holes!

I hit a nasty pot hole tonight and now the max is really pulling! Do you guys know if I can get the city to pay for the alignment? I live in NY and the pot hole nearly swallowed my max and me up.

Has anyone actually gotten their alignment paid for by using this form? If so, I gotta check to see if there is one for where I live!!

Thanks for your reply. I'm actually in upstate NY. You couldn't pay me enough to live in NYC, nice to visit, no way would I live there. This was no ordinary pot hole, I just measured it to be 11.5" deep and 1.5'long. I hit it staight on going 30mph, it was dark and there was nothing I could do about missing it. I'll let you know if I get anywhere with the city.

Yes, I agree the roads in NYC are horrendous.

Depends where in the city you're talking about living. If you're talking about living in Manhattan, its just way too expensive. Most of my friends pay around $1800 - $2700 per month for a 1 bedroom apartment with $540 per month for parking garage. You'd be surprised how many people in the city are transplants from other states/countries and know absolutely nothing else about the outer boroughs etc. I pay around $1100 for my apartment in Queens (one bedroom/doorman building) with a $190 charge per month for 24x7 underground/secured parking.
