While changing foglights, I accidently pulled the red wire off of the socket connector for the H3 foglight (the wire which you connect the H3 bulbs too). I tried stripping the wire and soldering it back on to the connector, but it wouldn't work. Is there a trick that I don't know? Have any of you guys accidently done this?

 

I've cut almost every wire on my 3rd gen and soldered it back together, and they work fine. You might want to check and make sure that its getting good contact, and that you didn't accidently snap any other wires along with it. Also check the fuse.
