Are there any true "summer only" tires out there that are quite like all seasons?

Ok, I have to admit, I'm addicted to my sp8000's. They stick like glue, the sidewall is nice and firm so the ride is tight, and the feel awsome at high speed crusing.

Now, I just put back on my half worn crappy sp4000 all seasons and I'm impressed on serveral areas. No...they handle like garbage esp on the old 15inch gxe rims, but they are so much quieter its unreal. Also, they are smoother at really low speeds. The tread blocks on the 8000's is just that, very blocky and chunky. At low speeds they produce a light vibration, ala monster truck style. Even going 20mph they are still kind rough.....and its not the side wall.

SO...all that long winded stuff being said, are there any quite/smooth summer only tires. After the s8000's extreme handling I vowed never to use anything but summer only tires during the warmmer weather.

Ahhh another lover of the good ole SP8000's. They are an awsome tire, can't say enough about them. But indeed they are loud, especially around town. I'm looking to replace my 8000's with the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires. Check them out up on tirerack. They get excellent reviews, very much similar to the 8000, only their quiet!

I'll be mounting them on our BMW 330i in about 2 - 3 weeks. I'm going to make that car the guni pig.

Tell ya what, the Sport A2's, which I run in the winter on 16'rs are also an awsome tire. If only Dunlop made them in 235/45/17, I'd replace my 17" SP8000 with the 17" Sport A2's.
