eye brows to dim light?
I was thinkin about gettin the upgraded wiring harness for my overwatt bulbs...but was worried about the excess light that will scatter because of the higher wattage...but this was my plan, get eyebrows and try to cut off some of the top edge of the light...will it work? any other suggestions? thanks.
so basically you want a technical "excuse" to put on the eye brows. why bother? just stay w/ the stock wattage and save your time and $$ for other stuff.

Eyelids won't give you the cutoff you want >>
Here's why:

Notice that the light shining downward originates from the upper portion of the headlamp reflector. In the same token, light heading upwars is reflected off of the bottom area of the reflector. In order for you to reduce upwards glare, you would need to block light from the bulb towards the bottom area of the reflector.
I30Cefiro doesn't have to worry...he's got H4s...these bulbs have a cutoff built right into the bulb.

Nothing you do to the lens of the headlamp with have a real effect >>
The only way to affect a change in the pattern of the headlamps is to alter the bulb or the reflective surface inside the headlamp.
Sorry boss...stick with stock wattage if you're really worried about the glare.
Confession time: I'm currently running 80/100W bulbs...standard clear Hellas...they are bright...but I have had a feew people highbeam me on the roads. I'm going to put in the Philips All-Weather bulbs that I got for Christmas.
