This time they did fine in 9" of CT snow. Town plow blocked the mouth of the driveway? No problem, I just rocked the Max and the 18" Sumitomo's did the rest. It be curious to know what other "all-season" 18's get the job done in snow, so we could have some choices known for those who need the all weather capabilities in an 18.
Driving back to Philly was crazy--what normally takes 4 took 8 hours. There was something like a 10-car crash on I-684 S so the Troops forced all traffic into Bedford. That Saw Mill had no entrance for I-287 W, totally bizarre, forcing us into the city.
WTF at my house there is barely a dusting of snow. Phila. is lame as far as change of seasons go. We get 2" here and some of the people in my dept. claim they are "risking their lives" to get to work. MAN the **** UP PHILA!

Good luck, I don't think you will be disappointed especially given the price. I would definitely like to try Sumitomo again some day if I have a different car and I need an 18. Hopefully they'll come out with a "next generation" HTR+ by then!
