I am just curious to see how many people on this forum are from Canada. If you do, can you post your location and the car you drive?

Re: eugene my pops might be interested in the body kit

I'm getting it from Paul @ Avalon Racing who contributes to this board often ... his pricing is $710 US + shipping + we'll have 2 cover whatever duties & taxes when it crosses the border ... b/c the CDN $$ is doing well the last few weeks I think now is the time 2 get it ... I'm also trying 2 get a quote from someone that Dave from CanMax knows ... hey .. he made me the VP of CANMAX ... kewl! n e ways ... we'll need 2 find someone here in Toronto 2 paint & install it .. u mite not know but it doesn't come painted ... I don't trust the guys @ Alta n e more ... all talk ....

n e ways ... 4 other tidbits ... check out my site that's listed below ... unfortunately it's a member site ... i.e. u have 2 b registered with EGroups ... but at least all the info & questions r local 2 us (Toronto & Canada) ....

ciao dude ...

RE: my rims ... dude .. I want 2 sell them but I'm going 2 b greedy with the price ... I want at least $1500 CDN 4 them ... I know that's really high ... but i'm not really willing 2 part with them 4 less than that ... they recently went for $1100 + 100 shipping on EBAY = 1200 US = 1800 Canadian!

n e 1 .. if interested ... lemme know ...

Thanks buddy, I used Apex springs on Tokicos and the ride is nice, not too harsh but excellent when cornering. The eibachs are good but be prepared for a somewhat harsh ride. If you add aftermarket lowering springs to a stock strut....they will wear out faster than normal. If possible, the best way is to get a full spring/strut set-up together so the strut can handle the extra absorbtion needed for lowering or your max.

cheers,

Hey Eugene, yes I have stopped by your site, I have also signed up but haven't been on the net for a couple of days. I'll add your link to my site when I get a chance.

I was also talking to Dave about making my Maxima site(Tormax) a chapter under the Canmax website. This way we can make the Canadian Maxima community much larger than it is now. I was just on the Canmax site and saw that you became the Vice Presedent. After all that work you definetely deserve it!

What rims are you looking at buying? I was looking at buying 2k SE rims but after buying a new sound system I don't have enough funds. After you get the body kit installed can you post some pics.

Hey fivelitrekiller, I used Foliatec Caliper Laquer on the calipers. I've had them for almost a year now and they still look brand new. If you want to get the best price, wait until Speedorama which is near the end of this month and you can buy them there for $50 including tax. I bought it from one of the stores at Speedorama which is called BC Auto and Design. Look for there silver Porsche and Supra and there white Civic.

I'm definitely going...depending on the weather conditions my car might be in it. The shop that installed my stereo wants to have my car showcased in their booth but it's alot of work to get ready for a show! Full buff and wax, total interior clean, change my rims again, have my system tuned blah, blah, blah...that's why it's fun being a spectator and you don't have all those little punks putting their hands all over your car.

Just let me know if anyone is interested in going to speedorama.
