Its not that fast, my car goes from 50 to 90 in 9 seconds!
Anway but thats fast, I say he gets around 12 in the quarter mile, and with slicks maybe high 11's. That would be awsome. Go maximas, show those rice boys what family sedans can do....

On street tires?

Thats a tough nut to crack in a heavy FWD car, but on slicks it might be possible.

i feel shame for anyone that gets these high powered cars for speed (BMW's, vette's, jaguar's, etc.) when u can get a maxima (not bad looking at all, has its luxury side if u get the right type) turbo'ed with extras at almost half the price and still be faster!

This kit is available for 5th gens, right? Does anyone on here have this kit on their 5th gen? I know of one turboed 5th gen (on turbomaxima.com), but isn't he running a different setup? I ask because I'm thinking of buying a used 5th gen and turboing or SCing it, instead of buying a brand new car.

The kit is available for 5th gens, and I can have you pictures of a couple 5th gen setups we have done/are doing here very shortly.

also, a note about the video. Just found out the car (with a new fuel setup i am trying) is running EXTREMELY rich, so expect an even quicker video once I lean it out (today)..

Yeah, I'd like to see some pics of the setups. You can email them to me at timsanchez@mac.com
If I end up going the turbo route, I'll probably have you install it. Won't be till the summer though. Gots to get outta school first BTW, what are you using to tune the car?

as noted in one of my previous posts, around 10psi.. as far as tuning, dyno, a/f guage and just feel... maybe not the best but seems to be working ok for me, dyno is too dang expensive for me to be on all the time, I need egt badly also - as well as SAFC so I can use my new injectors (laying in the garage).. ugh, sucks having no money
