Please be aware that there will be a gathering of maximas and a GS400 (plus anything you want to bring) at the Seguin 1/4 mile strip on the 12th of this month.

We want as many to go as possible for a strong showing!!!
There are already several maximas and a GS400 willing and able. All others are welcome.....please come out. This also goes to anyone interested from the surrounding area as well(Houston/San Antonio/etc.)

The track is called River City Raceway in Seguin,TX.

Russ2KSE: We talked about this recently with others, and just decided on it tuesday night. We thought the 12th would be best for all who may potentially show up. The 5th seemed to soon, and the later dates are after school starts for some, but the weather is still pretty cool(nice for power). You gonna come out? Like to see you out there...you live in Seguin? or in San Antonio?

Hey guys- Is this a nite race? For those of us who work all day Friday the 12th, and would love to bash our cars down the strip, please let me know. My Maxima is now all broken in & ready! I would love to attend, I have a Chevy-nut co-worker that needs to see some Nissan taillights!

Yes....most of us will try to leave right after work on friday. It's about an hour or so from here in Austin. Hopefully we could be there together by around 7 or so.

We would like see you there. Some of the other max owners here in Austin went to that track on a friday about 4 or 5 weeks ago. They said it was a good track. Looking forward to seeing you guys.

Hey Rob & all- I'll be there, I've got a 2000 SE 5-speed, as most of you know I work at South Point Nissan, one of our advisors has a new Supercharged Frontier 5-speed, he's coming, too. Looks like a good turnout!

Hey...it's great to see you'll be coming out!!! If you go to the first post on my thread, there will be a link to the track that the meet is at. There will be about a dozen higher hp cars, but I talked to one of the head guys there, and he sais it's still a open test and tune. Those cars will only amount to supposedly 12 cars or so...no problem. We'll have all the time we want to make our runs. It opens at 6 and shuts down I think about 12 midnight or so. the shootout starts out at about 9 or 9:30 or so, but with as few cars that do it, he said it won't affect our involvement. This night is still a test and tune!!! All night long!!! The way they do it is when the 12 or so cars are ready to run lined up, they hold up everyone else for their runs, then allow everybody to go agian. It doesn't last too long when they are doing the shootout runs.

The only drawback, is that there will be some more spectators on this type of night(in case your shy like me)....eheheh. I know someone here in Austin that has a 9 second ride, maybe I'll try to get him to go that night as well.

I hear since it's a very heavy truck that even with the SC it is slow as *****...Anyone know the times? i remember reading this in an issue of MT, bigger engine was oen of their biggest gripes about it. So, go ahead and whip that guys but out there!

Yeah, it seemed like the mags tested the heavy s/c's- 4WD & Crew Cabs. This one is a regular King Cab & a 5-speed, so it will be interesting to see how it does!

Circuit City at 183 and Mopac next to Dave & Busters. There will be probably in the area of 200 to 300 cars out there meeting together(domestic's and Imports). Everything from stock to 9 and 10 second cars. You should come out, a bunch of us will be there. It starts at about 10 or so. Park in front of the shoe store or the toy store next to the shoe store.

 

Are there any others that are interested in going to the meet?....Please post.
