Hey gw0, your tv series sucks.

Not sure about your car, I'm sure it's nice.

Sweet to see that us 2nd gen's are represented. What a lot of people don't know is our cars started what you newer gen guys have now. This was the first year for FWD V6, and it has stuck since. To top it off, 1986 was the first year Nissan sold over 100,000 Maxima's. So remember where y'all roots came from . And of course, don't forget the 1st gen's, those cars are the reason we had a Z-motor powered sedan in the first place! Congrats Rod!

Congrats! It was the 2nd gen Maximas that got me interested in Maximas. A good friend, who was a saleman for a company that my dad had been dealing with a long time, would always drive his 2nd gen Maxima to our house from time to time. He lived in Houston, so the drive wasn't that far. Everytime he came, I had to check his car out. Ever since, I am obsessed with Maximas.

umm..dunno what your talking about. Sure the car isn't as round, but this car gets almost if not better mileage than your 5th gens. Oh yeah, it has the same motor as 3rd gen VG's. So I don't know what your talking about when you say power, these cars have it, and it would hurt some 3rd and 4th gen owners feelings believe it or not (so long as it's the 5 spd).

Be glad of one thing, your cars don't talk to you. Sometimes it's nice, but try listening to it over and over and over when you have the key in the ignition and have the drivers door open while trying to do some work.

Geez you try to get respect, and people still don't give it to ya. :P

Nice!

Congrats GundamWZero, that's a sweet Gen2! And for the folks jumping into this thread and trying to turn it into a Gen war/Popularity contest,

I love Gen2 because in HS, my girlfriend's parents had beige/silver one, and I thought it looked like something straight outta Battlestar Galactica! And that voice... mmmm, seksi! Wouldn't have called it pretty, but I thought it was cool. Yours OTOH, looks Bada$$! Very nice ride.

I am surprised about being MOTM as anyone else. There are better Maximas in the org and on the streets (there is a guy here who drives a fully kitted 2nd Gen with the full bra, but I don't think he know about the org, and I can't slow him down enough to tell him). As far as me losing my cool a few days ago, it was about needing help, and getting flamed instead.

Heck, I thought it was a joke from that shouting match I had with DanNY, but this has inspired me to continue to improve on the car, I was and still am looking for a 4th / 5th Gen. Maxima. Other than that, I thank everone here for their support and congrats.

and all those hits on car domain..................
