Looking for info on Trans. temp gauge

I am thinking of installing a Transmission temperature gauge for my 1996 auto. i'm looking for suggestions on placing the gauge (need it to be low-key), and anyone who has one installed on their experience installing/mounting it, and anything i should lookout for.

Greatly Appreciated!

Low key = Poor visibility. I think gauges inside the glove box compartment is the worst. People talked about stealth this and stealth that...BS. How can you look at gauges inside the glove box compartment and still keep your eyes on the road?

Why not try a search on www.autometer.com:
mech gauges:
4351
4451
Trans Temp 140°-280°F (8 ft. tubing)
The above Temperature gauges include 1/2" NPT fittings and capillary tubing (length noted in description). See the Accessories section for our Trans Temperature adapter manifolds.

Your choice of mounting... DIN (HKS-USA) or A pillar..

Id get electrical autometer gauges on a gauge pod. It will look good, electrical gauges are much easier then mechanical gauges.

Buy the gauge cup from autometer, then you can mount the gauge bascially anywhere you want. Steering column, dashboard, a-pillar, roof, door panel, backseat...etc.

You can try and put it on the sides of your existing gauge cluster piece. I have seen a few cars with that setup.
