i went to this performace shop in my area last night looking around for a suspension to have done to my 99 SE this coming spring.. i was talking to the guy and i was trying to get the lowest price possible.. i told him that certain people from the .org sent me.. i told him i could get get rock bottom prices on parts from the WWW. that i would pay cash and no receipt was going to be needed. Basically, to give me a grrreat deal and i would go with him..thinking he is going to throw a figure of under 750 installed eibach, koni. because he was adamant about AGX.. he said agx was no good, even though he had GR2 boxes on the floor..he says $ 910.00 with the discount..i was like ok thanks and walked out.

 

just buy whatever you want for your car from the web and get a local place to install it. I don't usually buy stuff from shops; markup is over what the web can get you, and the small shops can't afford to price-match.

AGX is fine; I wouldn't trust that shop.

 

You sure you want to do that now? My brother is in Boston and raised his H&R Coilovers up for the winter on his E36 M3. There's a lot of potholes and slush on the road, I'd think you'd lower you suspension in May.
