Very nice. By the way, what is that black heat exchanger up by the passenger side of the engine for? Tranny cooler?

Yup, I'm doing all the work.

As mentioned, that big black thing is an oil cooler (can be used as tranny cooler also).

Thanks, guys.

How is your power steering fluid going to get cooled with that thing in the way? .

Is the IC connected to the frame, to that bar going across it, or is it supported only by the hose connections?

Also, any plans for a new front fascia to show off the IC?

looks absolutely incredible. One small complaint, dont you think you could benefit from some type of heat shield between the piping and the exhaust turbo housing. That is going to get incredible hot and since it will be constantly an inch from the pipping its gonna finally just radiate enuff to keep that pipe constantly hot. All that intercooler work might make you want to consider a small custom one. Makes a big difference. Only my two cents, great job though, that is one prietty lookin turbo.

Air still passes through the IC to the power steering cooler. The IC is held up but the piping, which sits nicely on the frame of the car. I may go with the Stillen Big Mouth bumper... haven't decided yet.

PinkMax

Yes, the pressure pipe sitting so close to the turbo has always bothered me. I am considering getting turbo wrap as soon as I can do research on which works the best.

Giants got beat by the 9'ers.

Sorry, I don't know how much cooler the air would be. There are formulas that calculate what the temp might be, but I haven't tried them out yet.

Check out LatinMax's custom Ninja front bumper. Looks much nicer than the standard Ninja or Stillen big mouth, IMO. Hopefully you can find a place in California that will do it for cheaper then the $2.5k Latinmax paid.

Unfortunately cardomain is down again, but maybe you've seen it before.
