It has come to my attention that one of my rims has a small crack on the inside lip. I have talked to a shop that said they could fix it for about $50 bucks but said that every once in a while they get one that comes back and still leaks.

My question for you guys is do any of you have any experience with having a crack welded back on a rim and if so how did it work out for you?

Please be sure to post on experience and not just personal opinion on this matter as i am trying to decided weather to fix the wheel or gou wheel shopping.

I had a rim fixed about as month ago and everything is fine..
