Im getting ready to install my HID. Where did you ground the ballast? Also where did you put the ballast so it was out of the way?

 

Depending which kit you get. I have the Hanabi kit and there is no ground, as the whole kit is plug and play into the factory wiring.

I have 1 old ballast and 1 new ballast, they are Hanabi. I had one ballast that blew prolly because the ground came out, so thats why im trying to find a good spot to ground. The new one doesnt need a ground, but the old one does. Could I use one of the points that the battery is grounded to? There are like 6 points in the engine, would it be safe to ground my HID ballast to one of those and put the battery ground cable on top of it?

 

My guess is that yes it would be OK. Put the ballast on the PS headlight, cause there is a ground screw really close to that one (remember, I showed it to you).

 

Ya, thats what I was thinking. Its also near the battery, and the old ballast needs to plug into the positive battery terminal. Was that the ground we couldnt get to?
