Any info on those dent removal places?
Some a**hole at my work put a huge 'crease' the length of his door in my passenger side door. The worst part was that I usually park in the spot on the end where only one car can park next to you, but there was a huge snowdrift in 'my spot' and I parked next to it. Same result - nobody would park in the snowdrift - wrong. Some beat up pickup pulled his truck in there, truck sat on top of the 3 inch snow and ice 'platform' with a slight lean toward my car and he must have opened the door with some force because the crese is pretty deep. No doubt he did it as the white paint on my black car is unmistakably the color of his POS. I should have been carrying my digital cam to get pictures right off the bat, but I live and learn.
Anyway, is it bad to go to one of those paintless dent removal places that say they can get rid of 'dents, creases and more'? Anybody been to one before and have history? Just wondering because I want my baby back to the way she was.
Thanks,

Dent Removal
Yeah, we deal with a company called Dent Wizard here in CT. They have trucks that come to the auto auction I work at and fix the cars on site. They use a series of metal rods and hooks to get in behind the dent and "rub" it, or around it, to heat the metal up and cause the dent to pull itself out. Sometimes it comes out nice, sometimes you can tell where the dent was pretty easily. Also, the dent has to be an inch or two away from a body seam or edge of a panel for them to be able to do anything. Also, I've seen them drill a hole in the door jam to get inside the panel. They later plugged the hole with a rubber plug - that really didn't impress me. Maybe that particular guy was just cutting corners, I don't know.
Myself, it comes down to severety of the dent and the color of the car. If I got a minor dent on a door or hood I might consider it, just because my Arctic Pearl is a bastard to match.
This all assumes you haven't broken the paint. There are other "mobile" services that fix scratches and such (Paint Wizard, ChipTech), but I find them to be nothing more than glorified touch up paint.
