Bought a new car. PICS!!!
Well...Last few months have been a little crazy as far as cars are concerned. I went through two Maximas and just bought a 1994 Volvo 850 T-5 Turbo station wagon. This car is nice, fairly fast and has a stiff suspension (harsh at times). It works perfect for my daily activities and has a ridiculous amount of cargo space with the rear seats removed. It has 146k miles on it right now and I just spent $1200 in repairs right after buying it. I'll probably keep it for a year and get something really nice (540i sport 
) BTW, the car already had a Greddy manual boost controller, turbo timer and a Greddy boost gauge when I got it. I just have to figure out how to use the MBC without blowing up the car.

Sorry to hear you had to put $1200 into it. Let me guess, front suspension? Sometimes Volvos get sold with strut towers needing replacement, or front bushings. Anyhow, I hope you know about IPD. They are pricy, but extremely reputable and you can have fun with their stuff:

This dude at work just got a '99 540iT. It is a kick-a** car for sure, and feels much more substantial than the 29k he paid. But it's a tough call, a 540 with 60k miles or another 8 grand and get a brand-new A4. The A4 looks better and I think I like the idea of new, but that's me. With Euro cars you can't go wrong because you pay more, you get more, and you lose less when you go to sell. Good luck.

manual boost controller
PM harold (hlh501?) He has an MBC, but I THINK you just turn the **** verrry little at a time, then check the boost by doing a full throttle run while watching the guage, (unless it has memory) in first or second gear.... Just be careful how much you turn that ****! Oh, and do a baseline run with the **** fully off to see how much stock boost is. I think the 94's run ~10psi stock (221hp) and the later years(v70) run ~11.5psi (~241hp)
