hamburger on back of all 4th gens?

Today at school i notices a teachers car, a beige max 97-99 and it didnt have the hamburger on the back. Now this was a teachers car with no mods and i'm sure they didnt remove it. Just wondering if they didnt put them on some cars?

They all came with one from the factory. Perhaps hers was stolen, or maybe not put back on by a body shop after repairs.

Perhaps she's running 100hp worth of nitrous oxide so kids like you can be left in the dust...

car could have been bought used, could have been stolen, taken off and lost while repainting, who knows but it was there when it left the factory.

There's more reasons than modding that someone wouldn't have complete OEM emblems on their cars. Just the other day I saw your typical grocery mom in a 95-96 with the 97-99 lettering on the rear. To note, I thought the teensy lettering looked out of place/unattractive

So the little hamburger on the back is just a stickers? So you can remove it without any holes being filled up? What about the M A X I M A is that a sticker too?

you can just shave everything off, including the keyhole. that leaves a hole though. everything else is just on with 3m tape. do a search on "shave rear" or "shaving rear". looks a whole lot better if you ask me.

it's not a sticker. it's a chrome emblem held on by double-sided tape

Well I like the nissan emblem on the back but it looks much better with the maxima letters off.
