changing rim color

how do i change the color of my rims? I have gunmetal and i want to make it silver. They are 18's. And how much do they usually run for? Thanks!

Look for people who paint or better yet powdercoat rims in your area. The prices vary a great deal.

I think powdercoating is much more durable. I'm sure there are down sides to it but I'm not sure what they are. Sorry

Powdercoating is the method of preference for wheels, but not all places have the facility (a large oven). Painting a rim can run up to $100/wheel, and powdercoating $150/wheel. If you shop around, you can get a better deal. There's a place in Maryland that will (hopefully) be powdercoating all of my wheels for under $300.
